DrugCard manages your self-funded pharmacy benefit plan from end to end. We work with you and your broker to develop:
  • Projections for what your company should spend with DrugCard managing your plan as compared to your current vendor
  • Optional plan designs and costs
  • What drugs should be covered and the cost impact
  • Communication materials
  • Implementation plans

At start up we provide:
  • Member kits with ID cards, benefit sheets, retail pharmacy information, mail service forms and an employee letter describing their new plan
  • Your service team member for employee meetings
  • Start up eligibility reports

On an ongoing basis, we provide:
  • Client and member services support
  • Electronic claims processing
  • Paper claims processing
  • On-line concurrent DUR (drug utilization review)
  • Coordination of Benefits
  • COBRA management
  • Internal claim review on every claim over $750
  • Standard and ad hoc reports on an established schedule or within one day’s notice
  • Quarterly financial analysis
