1. Contact DrugCard, Inc. (800-531-6351) for a replacement card to be mailed to you. Additional ID cards can also be sent to you for your dependents that may need one if away at college. If you are in need a prescription before your card arrives, have your pharmacy call DrugCard to obtain the information they will need to process your claim. DrugCard’s hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM CST.

2. Orders from the mail service can take up to 14 business days from the date the request is received. Occasionally prescriptions are unclear to the pharmacy staff and must be verified with your doctor’s office. This can add additional wait time to a prescription. Postal holidays and major weather issues can slow the US Post Office’s services as well. Order status updates can be obtained by contacting your mail facility directly, refer to your welcome packet for those numbers.

3. The mail service facilities are separate entities contracted by DrugCard, Inc. to fill prescriptions for your plan; therefore DrugCard does not have access to their billing information. Please contact your mail facility directly, refer to your welcome packet for those numbers.

4. Most plans cover dependents up to the age of 19 years. At that time they require proof that your child is a full-time college student before extending benefits to them. Please contact DrugCard, Inc. or your company’s benefits coordinator for more information.

5. Mail the original pharmacy receipts to DrugCard, Inc. (register receipts are not accepted). Receipts must be received within 90 days of the date of the claim, requests older than 90 days will be rejected. Reimbursement forms are available for download on this website.

6. Contact your account representative at DrugCard for coverage and co-payment questions.

7. The limitations of the quantities are set up with DrugCard by your company. The remaining balance of the prescription can be filled by paying an additional copay after 65% usage of the original prescription. You can save money and a couple of trips to the pharmacy if you use your mail order service for this kind of situation.

8. Self-injectable medications and other oral medications for chronic and genetic illnesses are filled by the Specialty Pharmacy Services, so members can be provided with individualized support. Each member is assigned a Special Care Team. The team is there for any questions or concerns, monitoring, ordering, reviewing, and evaluations. Please contact the Specialty Pharmacy Services directly for any more questions.

9. Yes, as long as it's within 7 days. After 7 days, you need to mail the original receipt with a reimbursement form to DrugCard.

10. If your company offers coordination of benefits for spouses, they need to have the claims processed by their primary insurance first. Once it's processed under the primary insurance, a member can then mail an explanation of benefits along with the pharmacy receipt to DrugCard.
