DrugCard, Inc. is a Pharmacy Benefits Administrator that for over 20 years has had a laser-like and relentless focus on the two most important aspects of managing the pharmacy benefit — cost containment and client and member services. When the company was started, the mission was simple — do everything possible to save the client money and provide unequalled customer service — it worked then and still works today.

The decision to be a Pharmacy Benefits Administrator was made to ensure we did not take our eye off the ball; that we remained focused on the mission. All of our efforts, systems and processes support it. To support it further, we have partnered with excellent Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) companies to provide networks of over 53,000 pharmacies and access to mail service facilities.

What separates DrugCard from the rest is our belief that our client administrators and members should have a single point of contact who is their advocate. We've combined all the tasks, usually residing in varying departments in other companies, into one person's responsibility — Your Client Service Manager. So, you and your menbers everyday contact is the same person who will manage your prior authorizations, plan setup changes, eligibility, COBRA administration, pharmacy/pharmacist issues, and patient/physician support, virtually all of the plan management issues that may arise. This approach alleviates miscommunication, any delays in the process and promotes issue resolution. All of the Client Service Managers are cross-trained to ensure continuity throughout our client base.

Our philosophy can be summed up as follows — provide superior service while controlling cost better than the rest.
